Monthly traffic & development overview

General overview
September had some urgent client account stuff in our agency that required all hands on deck. As BTB says: secure your income sources as much as you can.
September was a month where we made sure to keep our US clients as happy as possible, and made sure ROI was positive for the majority of our ad accounts. It was a good month, with 2 new sign ups (I consider this a double win, since the outlook for the rest of 2020 and Q1 2023 is pretty dark to say the least).
One addition for this month was the filtering options and additional tax data for countries on the Sovspot.com site:
Attorney listing type update
As a consequence, our Attorney listings launch are scheduled for October. We were able to do a data cleanup, as some of the scraped records were off.
As a reminder this launch will have 2 phases:
Attorneys specialized in Citizenship by Descent (3 per country);
Attorneys specialized in US & Canadian and other English speaking countries investment visas (25k);
Technical details of this rollout
The technical part of the listing type has been created, so all fields corresponding to the attorneys are present.
One thing that will require a bit more attention is the contact forms, paid plans etc, since those all need to work smoothly. This will be the #1 most important listing type in terms of monetization, so we want to make sure to do this right.
The concept is very simple:
Import all attorney profiles at once
Attorneys will ALWAYS Google their own name
SovSpot pops up, they click
They see they can claim listing
Listing claim + monthly membership to keep listing active = $$ (not sure on the final price yet, probably in the range of $59-$99/month)
For multiple attorneys we also have the contact info (email), and in those cases if a user contacts them through SovSpot, they will receive the email, with the contact data greyed out. If they want to see who contacted them, see #5 in this list). Classic lead gen.
Notes: we want to make sure the claiming is done by the actual attorney and not by some rando anon on the interwebs, so we will have to build in some additional verification for that. Listing will not be assigned directly after a claim, but need to be reviewed. As traffic increases, that process will need to be automated.

Unique page views: 1,650 (+45%)
Total sessions: 873 (+86%)
Total unique users: 768 (+99%)
Organic sessions: 534 (+305%)
Social users: 143 (-9.49%)
Substack sessions: 9 (-20%)
User accounts created: 2 (-%)
Development/Software/Mkt costs: $199 (not including dev time)
Revenue: $1.20 lmao
Last month we installed AdSense on the blog posts. Might deactivate that once we get the paid accounts up, since income from ads is negligible even at 30k+ visits (as a reference I run another niche site with 30k/month organic visits, and Adsense on that is just around 100 USD/month, so you really need a ton of traffic to pull in more income from the Google ad network.
Bing keeps on indexing more, but again: less relevant in terms of traffic.

Content created
This is an overview of all the content that has been created last month:
Citizenship by Descent content pillar is almost finished, with just 2 more guides left in the pipeline for October. Next push will be for “Citizenship by Investment”.
Also contemplating to start an article for “Citizenship by Enlistment”, just to rank #1 for that in case someone is actively searching to enlist in the Russian army. First country to do so.
The “Portugal golden visa alternatives” article we published as a test to see how fast we start ranking for that, based on a BowTiedTetra comment on Twitter. Right now after 2 weeks the site is already ranking 1st on the exact match keyword:
Future Rollout Stages
The upcoming rollout stages will be as follows:
v3 - CBD Attorneys (100+)
v4 - Immigration Attorney listings (30,000+ collected so far)
v5 - Immigration Consultants, Professionals & Agencies (200+)
v6 - Exclusive member content
Introduction of member tiers (pro subscribers on this sub will automatically be on the highest member tier)
Additional roll out of country data (Digital nomad visa data for countries) - started with this overview here, but still need to integrate this on a per country basis
