Welcome Avatar! Despite Milei travelling to the US on Trump’s Liberation Day to kiss the ring and hoping for a quick IMF resolution, the disbursement is still on hold. Meanwhile the current macro environment is very detrimental for Argentina, but there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Speed is of the essence though, there is not much time left.

As the trade war with the United States deepens, China will manipulate its currency again. We are already seeing the first signs of this, as China is not backing down (yet).

In the heat of the ongoing Tariff War, China devalued the Yuan. What does this have to do with Argentina, you might ask, and unfortunately the answer is: quite a bit.
