While most of the population still has 2018 PTSD, former President Macri is trying to spin up a consensus opposition against Milei. Will he succeed?

In the second week of March, governor Axel Kicillof and former President Mauricio Macri had what should have appeared to be a casual encounter during the Expo Agro exhibition in San Nicolás, province of Buenos Aires, where they shared the main table.

In Argentina, these encounters are never random, and you can practically set the clock to some political announcement or some breaking news stories hitting the press shortly after. From that perspective, this “random” encounter did not disappoint.
