February 2023: SovSpot Platform Recap

General overview

In February we saw an impressive traffic increase after we started actively posting on the SovSpot Twitter and Facebook page. It seems this, together with the older content ranking higher, was a main factor in generating a new traffic ATH.

Hitting that 10k organic/month in Feb 🔥

Ad revenue increased this month, but so far no product downloads on the site’s store. Overall I have to admit that in February due to client work, SovSpot did get a bit behind in terms of new content generation.

Attorney listing type update

This is now fully functional, you can see a sample profile here, and the search functionality here.

Yes. Finally figured out how to show a different content form when someone claimed a listing on SovSpot. Not the most elegant solution to do this with css vs a function (I'd rather just not have the block html even show up vs hiding it)

Next steps is uploading the first batch.

Total sessions: 10,269 (+29%)
Total unique users: 10,023 (+28%)
Organic sessions: 10,002 (+39%)
Social users: 522 (+97%)
User accounts created: 14 (-%)
Development/Software/Mkt costs: $199 (not including dev time)
Ad Revenue: $41.67 (+10%)
Product Revenue: $0.00 (-%)
Memberships: $0.00 (-%)
Listings: $0.00 (-%)

Will be interesting to see when the other revenue streams start picking up, but so far ad revenue has been consistently growing.

I started the batch around the “Residency by Investment” topic cluster, but definitely need to step up the gas in March to roll out all the rest of the articles.

Future Rollout Stages

The upcoming rollout stages will be as follows:

• v3 - Exclusive member content

  • Introduction of member tiers (pro subscribers on this sub will automatically be on the highest member tier) - Dev is done on this

  • Additional roll out of country data (Digital nomad visa data for countries) - started with this overview here, but still need to integrate this on a per country basis

• v4 - CBD Attorneys (1000+) - Listed cleaned

• v5 - Immigration Attorney listings (30,000+ collected so far)

• v6 - Immigration Consultants, Professionals & Agencies (200+)
