Welcome Avatar! Today, the Milei administration published the final text of the decree around the immigration policy changes. As it turns out there are some bigger shifts than anticipated.
The final text of Decreto 366/2025 will have many a citizenship lawyer scratching his head — a few in particular who based their practice on obtaining citizenship for immigrants who were technically staying in Argentina illegally.
Below I will give an overview of the most important changes that weren’t yet discussed in the previous article of Citizenship by Investment in Argentina, and a translation of the complete decree text to English.
